Through my work, I am committed to helping clients:
I strive to be a balanced part of our economic system and my fee arrangements will reflect that. What clients pay me for is the work I do in giving carefully crafted, individually tailored legal advice and guidance. I do not create artificial work or give clients documents they cannot understand. I like to share information and help clients understand and appreciate the reasons and logic behind their current situation and the potential paths forward. I don’t pretend to know things that I do not, and as long as the work aligns with my values I will get help and figure out the unknowns to help the client achieve their goals. Depending on the project and client’s needs, I can work on a flat-fee or hourly basis. My rates are based on a sliding scale of $222 to $111 per hour to provide access to more people and small businesses. I also enjoy meaningful trade and barter arrangements under the right circumstances!
- navigate complex laws and regulations without losing their passion for the ventures they want to create
- protect themselves from avoidable problems without over-lawyering transactions or creating paranoia and unnecessary conflict
- enhance relationships with those they live and work with, even when they end up changing their minds
- improve communities by educating rulemakers about barriers to sustainability and working to fix them
- create new agreements and organizational models that can be replicated and shared as we co-create a regional sharing economy together.

Happy Spaces...dancing, playing in the garden and yard, cooking, practicing yoga, walking in warm rain, traveling to beautiful places with people I love, riding my cruiser on the Greenbelt, eating and drinking with cool people, making kids laugh, re-reading Harry Potter, giving creative compliments, sniffing flowers, and staring at moss. |
I also own The Vervain Collective, a plant-based apothecary in Garden City!
